Will a adult perm make my hair fall out?

im 13 and im black.. i usually get a kiddie perm because my mom thinks the adult perm will make my hair fall out ( too strong for my hair) but yesterday i went to get my hair done and the lady put a adult perm in my hair so im scared that its too strong for my hair to handle
