Ok, so I have these really bad shin splints from track. They haven't gotten better so my coach told me I have to take some time off. I really want to get back to running so what can I do to help them heal faster? I've been icing them everyday, taking anti-flammatories/pain reliever, and stretching...is there anything else, or is resting from running the only thing thats going to get them to heal?
